SAHARA 2008

In 1975, the people of Western Sahara experienced one of the most cruel episodes in human history. Its inhabitants were invaded and dispossessed of their lands by the Moroccan army. After their flight, the Saharawi settled in the desert in Algerian territory, with the only hope of returning to the occupied territories. There are many blank spaces regarding the reconstruction of the memory of what was their flight, the only thing that is clear is the conviction that they will soon return to what they call their home, however, more than 30 years have passed, and every day the wait is more violent, because it is a clear feeling of uncertainty about what their return means.
